Goal
The goal of this project was to develop a compelling brand identity, encompassing both the name and logo, for a sermon series that would tackle controversial topics like drugs, sex, and other religions. The objective was to create an impactful and attention-grabbing brand that would engage the target audience and spark meaningful discussions within the community.
Approach
To achieve the desired goal, the approach involved careful brainstorming and conceptualization. After extensive research and exploration, the name “Uncensored” was chosen to encapsulate the bold and unrestricted nature of the sermon series. A visually striking logo was designed, representing the themes of open dialogue and free expression. The branding strategy aimed to evoke curiosity, encourage participation, and communicate the series’ objective of addressing difficult subjects in a respectful and inclusive manner.
Results
The results of the project exceeded expectations, as the brand identity for the “Uncensored” sermon series garnered tremendous success. The thoughtfully crafted name and logo resonated with the target audience, attracting a significant number of attendees and fostering engaging conversations. Various collateral, including billboards, flyers, and DVD cases, were designed to complement the brand and further enhance its visibility. The positive reception and impact of the initial series led to a successful follow-up with a refreshed brand identity for the part two of the series, ensuring its continued relevance and appeal.
The above mockups are a sample of the second part of the series.
Unfortunately, I never got a photo of the real billboard, here is a mockup with the artwork that was used.
